Pershore high school
The proposed building has been designed to incorporate the demands from the school, in the form of the new Learning Support Centre, together with a new main school reception and the formation of a focused entrance point to the school.
The siting of the new block within the heart of the school was chosen in order to incorporate the centre users within the daily activities and arrive alongside the main body of pupils accessing the school. The building form is derived from the existing 1960’s steel framed teaching blocks, with the use of modern lines and bold colour to accentuate the entrance. The second part of the project involved alterations to part of an existing block that consists of four large teaching rooms.
