Architecture
L A N A is a creative and motivated Architect with an interest in sustainable development and conservation.
During the post graduate studies programme she developed a particular interest in vernacular architecture, attending conferences and participating in various workshops to broaden her knowledge. In addition she undertook a Master of Arts in this field, carrying out research in the Veneto, Italy, for which she was awarded a distinction for.
Although her professional experience at a number of different practices has comprised a broad range of building types, it has primarily been focused in the residential and educational sectors, with many projects encompassing a high sustainable agenda.
As well as experience within practice, She has also undertaken detailed research into the cultural and historical background of various buildings including Keble College, Oxford and Brunel University, Surrey, and was a lecturer in architecture at the University of West London for three years.
